Fall is here and another twelve years...

Oh I am so excited! Excited to feel the cooler weather(whoo hooo hoodies), to have my slow cooker going most days( the house smells so good), to be talking Thanksgiving dinner with the family, even seeing the Christmas stuff up at the stores has my giddy! I love this time of year! The smells,the atmosphere, just every amazing thing this time of year brings. 

This time of year also brings Tom and mine anniversary. We have been together twelve blissfully, imperfect years. Twelve years of that amazing man being mine. Twelve years of him coming home to me. Twelve years of ups and downs, learning about each other,loving each other. In those twelve years we have brought two wonderful boys into the world to join the amazing sister. We have fought,laughed,loved. We have been everything to each other. Tom is my best friend. He has been there for me through every good and bad thing in my life. He has been the shoulder I cry or lean on. He has been my cheerleader when I need one, never letting me give up on my dreams. He has been my rock though the rough days and my light on the good ones. He is the best father for my children. Their hero. So here is to another amazing twelve years with the man who really is my everything.

Now I am going to go cuddle up with that amazing man and just enjoy him being there!!

Fall Favorites

I love Fall! I wait all year for this season. I love everything about it. Even right now I am impatiently waiting for this amazing time of year.That being said there are certain things I look forward to more than others.

HOODIES!!! Jeans and bare feet. I could wear hoodies and jeans everyday of the year and be on cloud nine! I'm already scouting out the stores for their arrival.

Pumpkins.Pumpkin patch.Pumpkin bread.Pumpkin pie.Pumpkin carving. These little(or sometimes huge if you get my husband to buy them)orange things are a huge part of our lives this time of year. I get excited when I start seeing them at the stores.

Crisp,cool,clean air. Not too hot. Not yet cold. The air smells better. It feels nice to sit outside while the kids play.

Amazing crockpot meals. I just got out and dusted mine off in anticipation for all the nice stews,chilis,soups and every other amazing,filling meals that bring this great time of year.And oh it saves so much time just throwing everything into the pot and going about your business for the rest of the day. LOVE it!!

Picture taking. As a photographer(in the making) fall time is my favorite time to take pictures so far. The air feels cleaner, leaves, pumpkins,costumes,the clothes, well basically all the amazing things you can use in your photos. It is amazing!

Halloween and Thanksgiving. Ah all the little people running around in their amazing costumes having a blast. My kids wear their costumes all of October and most of November. Thanksgiving brings turkey, deviled eggs,cranberry sauce and the beginning of the Christmas season. In our house every night at dinner we all give something we are thankful for that day. My kids love it. It also brings family. And there is nothing I love more!

Dang it, fall needs to hurry it up already!!!

My Amazing Life...

Wow!It's been so long since I have been able to blog. I've missed it.I hope to get back into it and get back in the blogging world. It's one of my favorites:)

Anyways it's time to play catch-up.

Mercedes is 17 now. Yes, 17! It's crazy that come next June my baby girl will be 18. With one more year of high school. Driving. College. Working. Her adult life is about to begin. Where I am very proud of the woman is she is becoming I am also sad that her childhood is over. I hope I get through this without days of crying and driving everyone crazy.

Kade turned 9 last month. He is starting 4th grade this month.I can't believe how fast he is growing up. Seems like yesterday I brought him home from the hospital and laid him in his bassinet, staring at that face for hours.*sighs* It goes by to fast!He has the biggest and kindest heart.

Jacob is now 5. He finished Pre-K and starts Kindergarten in a week. Best news: he is talking!!! Apparently he has so much fluid build up in his ears he was pretty much deaf. He got his tubes in last May and he just keeps improving everyday. Being able to have actual conversations with him now is amazing!! He is still a mini-Tom and just plain awesome!

Chloe bug is 2! Can y'all believe that.She has grown so much. She is talking pretty good, knows most of her ABCs and can count to 10. She is still her Aunt Brandi's Chloebug! Love that girl so freaking much.

And just because it has been so long here are some random pics of my amazing life...

And we finally got a dog. Yes a dog. Her name is Layla and she is my shadow. She follows me everywhere and I just love her to death. I got her for the kids but she became my baby. Crazy!

Oh how I miss the blogging world...

I miss blogging.I miss reading everyone's blogs. I miss having internet. I haven't had internet on my computer in almost a year. The only internet I can get where I live is satelitte and it's annoying but I must admit  now I am thinking hard about getting it back. It sucks but it is better than nothing. So please bare with me because I soon will be back.

Their Momma and Her Aunt

So my days consist of taking care of little people.Until four o'clock five days a week I take care of my sweet Jake and the sweet Chloe.Then I also get the privilege of having Mercedes and Kade home from school. These awesome little people sure keep my busy.They keep me from doing things I want to do(like keep up with my blog) or sit down and read a book.But you know what that is okay with me.They are growing up on me.All four of them.It is just a few short months from Jake starting pre-school.My baby.In one short year and a few months my baby-baby will be in school all day.Yes,I am already tearing up.I keep asking myself "what will I do?".I only have Chloe every other week while her dad is at work and all my babies will be gone all day.What will I do with myself?There will be no more morning cartoons and cereal with Jake,no more so busy I can barely sit down days.He will be off enjoying his new chapter in his life.I can't lie,there is already an empty feeling in my chest and tears are start to run down my cheeks.My babies just are no longer babies.Even my sweet niece will be one in a couple of weeks.The years are slipping away way to fast.I want to just push the pause button and stay right here with them.But I know that will not ever happen.They will grow up.I see this everyday.With Jake and his wanting to do everything himself now.Or watching Chloe take her first steps and saying new words everyday.With Kade and his always wanting to go to his friends houses and be with the guys.Or Mercedes being excited for her sweet 16 and having (gulp) boyfriends.Yep.They are growing up on me.So since I can't stop it, I am going to enjoy it.Every second of it!Even the times where they are driving me to the brink of insanity.Because I know one day,not to far from this one,they will be gone.

So I am going to go snuggle up to Chloe and Jake and just enjoy them.Enjoy them just being.

Bring in the new year:)

So this is my first post of 2012.I plan on blogging a lot more this year.I just haven't made it to the computer much the past couple weeks.Anyways,

I don't really have anything to write about today so I thought I would share the first week of my Project 366.

Goodbye 2011

Overall 2011 was a good year.Yes it had it's bad parts but overall it was good.

In January my sweet Jake turned 3.It was the first time he really got into celebrating his birthday.

February was pretty uneventful though I did finally get my boys tattoo:)

On March 1st I turned 26.YAY!But I was sick with an earache and stuck in bed:(.

In April my baby girl had her tonsils taken out and we found out very quickly that she had a bleeding disorder.One of the worse parent moments ever!BUT on that same day we were also blessed with the birth of my niece Chloe Rylian,who has brought so much joy and love to our lives.

In May my daughter graduated from 8th grade and became a high schooler!!

In June my beautiful daughter turned 15.I can't believe she will be 16 in a little over half a year!

In July my handsome Kade turned 7.He is growing up so fast:(

In August and Sept we moved....twice.It was a rough time and not something I wish to repeat.But in the end we have a beautiful home with enough room for everyone and where everyone is comfortable.So it was pretty worth it(though I didn't think so at the time).

October brought fall-time which I love and Halloween which my kids love.They love to dress up and have the witch fairy come visit.

November and December was spent with family and celebrating the holidays.It was a blast!
